Tom Preece leads the team responsible for supporting implementations of Rational Governance, and works directly with clients, partners, internal Product Development, and Marketing to improve, sell, and deliver our information governance solutions. He converses daily with executive- and director-level practitioners in Legal, Compliance, InfoSec, Privacy, and KM departments to better understand their problems and relate the multi-layered value that in-place supervised machine learning technology can provide.
Prior to contract execution, organizations must coordinate complex requirements across product functionality, security, compliance, personnel, process, and more to understand what is covered by any one solution and where each solution falls short. Tom provides a nexus of knowledge across all of these areas, acting to empower prospects along the buying journey, design custom pilot solutions to provide data-backed project plans, and educate our salespeople on the depth and breadth of our technology and service portfolio. Tom has had the privilege of working with some of the most highly regulated companies and government organizations in the world, requiring him to travel across 3 continents and consistently provide support across our global sales team.
Tom also writes thought-leading content, having been published by the Association of Certified eDiscovery Experts; Junto, the cybersecurity exchange published by internationally recognized firm Net Diligence; and other privacy blogs and newsletters. Before working at Rational Enterprise, Tom held a senior sales role at SiteLogic, a boutique Manhattan-based eDiscovery and Digital Forensics firm; prior to that, Tom worked under the Director of Communications at Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP.
